  • HP3: Power, Performance, Potential

    A functional training class for all levels of fitness. HP3 is a form of high-intensity interval training.  It is a strength and conditioning workout that consists of functional movement performed at a high intensity.  HP3 is programmed by Jordan Chovanec.  Jordan has a master's degree in Exercise Science, and he designs safe, effective workouts that challenges even the most fit athlete.

    HP3 Classes

    Every member of Citizens HealthPlex has access to our HP3 classes. You can enjoy unlimited classes that are offered several times each week. Classes can be scaled to meet your individual level of fitness (but be prepared to push yourself!).

  • Citizens HealthPlex is proud to be a Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) Affiliate in Victoria.  RSB is a specially designed exercise program for anyone living with Parkinson’s Disease.  

    Training classes include an exercise program that attacks Parkinson’s at its vulnerable neurological points. While focusing on overall fitness, workouts include:  heavy bags, speed bags, jump rope, core work, agility bags, calisthenics and circuit weight training. 

    No boxing experience is necessary and people of all ages are invited to participate. 

    Our classes meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:15 PM.  Membership is required and the enrollment fee is waived.  Caregivers are encouraged to observe and support.

  • First time joining a large health club?  Not sure where to start with exercise?  Want to know what exercises will be safe and effective for YOU?  Let us take the guesswork out of your experience.

    Your membership includes Coaching and Exercise Prescription (Rx) with one of our degreed and certified fitness professionals.

    A Coaching Session includes:

    • A brief health history review.

    • Discussion of goals, challenges and exercise history.

    • Overview of exercises, equipment and classes that might be of interest to you.

    • Creation of an exercise program built just for you.

    An Exercise Prescription includes:

    • A program designed based on your current health status, goals and interests.

    • Step-by-step training through your exercise program.

    • Answers to all your questions.

    • More sessions if needed!

    Want to work with a professional one-on-one for each workout?  Hire one of our professional, experienced Personal Trainers.  They will walk with you step-by-step toward a leaner body, more strength, and greater fitness.

    Personal Training includes:

    • Development of a personalized exercise program.

    • One on one exercise sessions with your trainer on a scheduled basis.

    • Use a pre-paid session for every workout OR just when you need the support.

    • Motivation and a gentle push toward your best self ever.

  • Citizens HealthPlex offers a fun, safe childcare experience for kids 3 months through 10 years.  As a HealthPlex member, you can leave your child or children in our care for up to 2 hours while you enjoy all that the HealthPlex has to offer.  Our staff are well trained and experienced in caring for children.  Daily or monthly fees apply.

  • Citizens HealthPlex offers massage therapy services for members and non-members. Our massage therapists are state licensed, trained professionals offering a variety of massage techniques. Although no two massages are exactly alike, you may request a certain technique or modality. There are two private massage therapy rooms adjacent to each locker room. Robes are provided for your convenience and comfort.

    We offer the following massage therapy services by appointment:

    • Swedish Massage (30 min $45) (60 min $70) (90 min $95)

      • light to firm pressure with the main goal of relaxation and stress reduction.  May enhance circulation, reduce join/muscle pain, lower blood pressure, and boost immune function.  

    • Deep Tissue Massage (30 min $55) (60 min $80) (90 min $105)

      • helps to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow, deep strokes and pressure on muscles, tendons and fascia.  May help break down scar tissue, improve circulation, decrease chronic pain, and improve muscle recovery.  

    • Prenatal Massage (60 min $80)

      • light to firm pressure that may reduce stress, reduce swelling in legs and feet, lower risk of preterm birth, reduce back pain and relieve headaches.  

    • Reflexology (30 min $55) (60 min $80)

      • focused attention on the feet and/or hands with firm pressure on specific points.  Based on the premise that there are different pressure points which correspond to various body parts, glands and organs.  **Not recommended during pregnancy.

    • Exfoliating Back Treatment (30 min $55)

    • Detox Body Scrub (60 min $85)

    • Toning Facial (60 min $80)
