Surgical & Non-Surgical Weight Loss
-
Gastric Sleeve
The Gastric Sleeve is performed laparoscopically, using minimally invasive techniques and provides for a quicker sense of fullness and decreased appetite.
-
Gastric Bypass
Gastric Bypass Gastric bypass is surgery that helps you lose weight by changing how your stomach and small intestine handle the food you eat. After the surgery, your stomach will be smaller, and you will feel full with less food.
-
MicroSleeve Surgery
All the benefits of weight loss surgery with only one, small, visible incision.
-
Medical Weight Loss
We work to guide you on a successful non-surgical weight loss regime. By using the latest scientific advancements, including GLP-1 treatment options, our experts have found the solution to healthy weight reduction without repeat failure.
-
Revision Surgery
Procedures done in the past are not always as effective as those done today, which may make it impossible to achieve adequate weight loss. Sometimes an initial procedure may need to be revised.

Qualifying for Surgery
Weight loss surgery is a serious undertaking and has lifelong effects. You'll need to make sure that you are committed to the permanent change in lifestyle and diet that the surgery requires to be effective. Our team works to provide a unique and personal approach to your weight loss success.
If you have decided weight loss surgery is the option for you, use the BMI Calculator to determine your Body Mass Index (BMI). A BMI of 40 or greater automatically meets criteria for surgery. A BMI between 35 and 40 must include additional health conditions, such as Diabetes, Hypertension, High Cholesterol, Joint Pain or Sleep Apnea in order to qualify for surgery.
Ongoing Support
Citizens Bariatric Center holds monthly support group meetings for patients who have undergone weight loss surgery. Friends and family of patients are encouraged to attend as well. These meetings not only provide support and encouragement, but may also provide helpful information that will assist your weight-loss goals.
